Industry applications of powder making equipment

Jun 10, 2026 Leave a message

Powder grinding equipment, as a fundamental industrial tool, is widely used in various industries such as mining, chemical, building materials, metallurgy, power, cement, non-metallic minerals, food, and pharmaceuticals. It processes various materials into powders of the required fineness.

In the cement industry, powder grinding equipment is used for grinding cement raw materials and clinker, and is a key piece of equipment in cement production lines. In the power industry, it is mainly used for the preparation of limestone desulfurizing agents in power plants, as well as the preparation of clean coal powder. In the chemical and metallurgical industries, it is suitable for grinding various chemical raw materials and metallurgical auxiliary materials such as phosphate rock, graphite, rare earth elements, bauxite, iron ore, and copper ore. In the building materials and non-metallic minerals industries, it is an important piece of equipment for processing hundreds of non-metallic minerals such as limestone, calcite, talc, barite, marble, gypsum, kaolin, bentonite, quartz, and feldspar. In recent years, powder grinding equipment has played an important role in the grinding of new energy raw and auxiliary materials (such as spodumene and lepidolite). In addition, it is also used for the resource utilization and grinding of industrial solid wastes such as slag, water slag, and fly ash, producing building material raw materials such as mineral powder and micro powder.

The powder-making equipment can typically process non-flammable and non-explosive mineral materials with a Mohs hardness of no more than 9.3 and a moisture content of less than 6%.
