Powder grinding equipment, also known as milling equipment, originates from Raymond mill technology in the early 20th century. It is a key machine used for material crushing and processing in industries such as mining, chemical engineering, and construction. Main types include Raymond mills, high-pressure mills, vertical mills, ultrafine mills, and trapezoidal mills. Based on improved designs of Raymond mill technology, it can process non-flammable and non-explosive mineral materials with a Mohs hardness ≤9.3 and moisture content ≤6%, and is widely used in the fine processing of over 280 kinds of minerals such as barite and kaolin. According to industry reports, the global and Chinese powder grinding equipment market size will reach hundreds of millions of yuan by 2025.

This equipment consists of a main unit, analyzer, fan, and cyclone separator. It crushes materials through the crushing action of grinding rollers and grinding rings, and uses a circulating air path to separate the powder. The finished particle size can be adjusted between 80-325 mesh, and some new equipment can reach over 600 mesh, or even 2500 mesh. It features low power consumption, small footprint, and long replacement cycle for vulnerable parts, reducing maintenance frequency and dust pollution compared to traditional equipment. Current equipment is developing towards intelligence and environmental friendliness, for example, by applying variable frequency speed control and precision feeding systems, and using pulse dust collectors. New equipment such as high-pressure mills increase grinding pressure through spring pressurization, resulting in higher output and a wider range of finished particle sizes.
