In grain processing operations, stone contamination remains one of the most persistent quality issues - a single overlooked stone can damage an entire milling line. The Gravity Destoner addresses this problem by exploiting the physical differences in bulk density and air suspension velocity between grains and heavy contaminants.

The machine finds its primary application in wheat cleaning circuits, specifically positioned after pre-cleaning and the first screening stage. At this point, it concentrates and removes light impurities including buckwheat seeds, grass seeds, shriveled kernels, and insect-damaged grains, while simultaneously separating stones, mud lumps, and similar heavy foreign matter that would otherwise pass through conventional screening.

Beyond wheat, the Gravity Destoner handles a range of cereal grains: barley, maize, soybeans, paddy rice, brown rice, and rye all respond well to its density-based separation principle.
